US backing Saudi aggression against Yemen: Activist
Press TV has conducted an interview with Joe Iosbaker, with the United National Antiwar Coalition from Chicago, to discuss Saudi Arabia’s military aggression against Yemen.
Iosbaker believes there needs to be statements on the international level in opposition to the aggression. He also says Saudi Arabia is carrying out airstrikes against Yemen using weapons provided by the United States, killing children and civilians, and Washington once again is backing the military action of this monarchy.
Iosbaker further argues all regimes that are engaged in wars against international law should be held accountable but the International Criminal Court has shown no will to go after imperialist state-sponsored violence.
The activist goes on to say that Yemen has added itself to the “axis of resistance” and as long as the Yemeni people stay united, they will be able to successfully resist the Saudi aggression.
