Press TV has managed to obtain new photographs that show the Israeli regime providing treatment for Takfiri terrorists operating in Syria.

In the controversial photos which are indicative of Israel’s support for al-Qaeda-linked militants of the al-Nusra Front extremist group, Israeli soldiers could be seen transferring a wounded terrorist in the occupied Golan Heights to a hospital.

A number of militant commanders, who have sustained injuries in Syrian government attacks, have reportedly been hospitalized in the occupied territories as Tel Aviv is known to have been providing medical, intelligence and military support for terrorists operating in Syria.

In late February 2014, an unnamed Israeli commander admitted that the Israeli military is in contact with foreign-backed terrorist groups inside Syria.

The commander said the militants provided Israeli intelligence officials with information on the identity and medical condition of the wounded militants.

On February 18, 2014, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu paid a visit to a secret field hospital in the occupied Golan Heights, which offers medical services to the injured militants coming in from Syria.

In October, Israeli political commentator, Ehud Yaari, said the Tel Aviv regime had provided medical treatment for over 1,400 wounded militants from Syria.

According to documents from Israeli hospitals, the Israeli military spent $10 million of its budget up until September 2014 for the costs of treating foreign-sponsored militants injured during battles with Syrian government forces.

Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fueled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 215,000 people.
