Joe Catron: West keeps loyalty to Israel by silence on Tel Aviv crimes
Press TV has conducted an interview with Joe Catron, with the International Solidarity Movement from New York, to discuss the silence of international media on the persistent rights violations committed by Israel in Palestine.
Catron believes that the silence of the international media over Israeli crimes reflects the loyalty that the governing classes of North America and Western Europe hold for Israel. He also says Israel has established ties with these governments to ensure they will continue to serve its interest.
The activist maintains that the United States has used its veto power within the UN Security Council numerous times for Israel’s benefit, adding that it has protected the Tel Aviv regime against any serious repercussions for its crimes until now.
