Press TV has conducted an interview with Daniel Faraci, the director of Grassroots Political Consulting in Washington, to discuss the Saudi-led invasion of Yemen.

The political commentator maintains that the US-led Western countries and their regional allies have already ignited proxy conflicts in Syria and elsewhere, and are now engaged in an act of aggression against the Yemeni people.

He notes that the military intervention in Yemen led by the Saudi monarchy will result in huge loss of innocent lives and the slaughter of civilians.

Any direct involvement by the US or the Western NATO military alliance in Yemen could end up in the deterioration of an already bad situation in the region, Faraci argues.

Commenting on the constant failure of American policies in the Middle East, Faraci suggests that it would be better for Washington to stay out of regional conflicts.
