Press TV has conducted an interview with Wilmer Leon, a columnist and political commentator from Washington, to discuss the latest developments about the ongoing Saudi invasion of Yemen.

The political commentator believes that the Saudi monarchy and its allies in Washington are attempting to restore government of Yemen’s fugitive president, Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, to power and seek to prop up his administration.

He added that Hadi’s move to flee the southern city of Aden demonstrates that the United States, as an imperial power, and the Al Saud regime are increasingly losing their influence in Yemen and the Middle East region.

The analyst strongly criticizes the US for waging and supporting conflicts in various parts of the world, adding that Washing has destabilized several countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Yemen through its meddlesome policies.
