World must act against Israel atrocities: Activist

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Press TV has conducted an interview with Miko Peled, an author and peace activist based in San Diego, to discuss Israel’s eviction of more Palestinian families from their homes to build new settlements.

Peled said that people in Palestine do not access to food, water, and other basic necessities and are currently living under the worst possible conditions and the re-election of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will further deteriorate their situation.

He added that Israel's killing of the Palestinians and violation of their most basic rights to freedom must stop immediately.

The activist said the time has come for the world to take action against these atrocities by isolating Israel and help strengthen anti-Israeli movements such as Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) to bring about the much needed change.
