S. Arabia promoting sectarian war in Yemen: Commentator

Yemeni armed men inspect the damage following a bomb explosion at the Badr mosque in southern Sanaa on March 20, 2015.

Press TV has conducted an interview with Daoud Khairallah, a professor at Georgetown University, to discuss the role of Saudi Arabia in Yemen’s developments.

Khairallah says Saudi Arabia is waging sectarian wars between Shia and Sunni groups throughout the Arab world, including Yemen, adding that the reason why the Saudis are opposed to the Houthis' transitional road map in Yemen is because they are aware of the fact that such a plan would diminish Riyadh's dominance over Sana’a.
