Hillary Clinton author of Syria disaster, Russia’s Pushkov says

Former United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is responsible for the disaster in Syria, says Russia’s Chairman of the State Duma International Affairs Committee Alexei Pushkov.

At parliament hearings in the State Duma on Monday, Pushkov also referred to the American Senator as “a co-author of the ISIL” terrorists.

The Russian official said he was not expecting a better relation with Washington during the time left for President Barack Obama in office.

“We won't be good with America, and this is already clear. Obama is the most composed American leader but we still have what we have," he said.

He further stated that Obama’s successors are “either well known to us, like Hillary Clinton who, in my opinion, is the author of the disastrous crisis in Syria and a co-author of the ISIL, or are totally insane people from the Republican Party."

"A seriously ignorant, incompetent and highly aggressive generation of politicians is growing up in the Republican Party," he noted.

Last November, Paul Craig Roberts, a former Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury and Associate Editor of the Wall Street Journal, said Clinton’s presidency “would mean war with Russia”.

“As Michel Chossudovsky and Noam Chomsky have written, the war would be nuclear,” Roberts added.
