Press TV has conducted an interview with Foad Izadi, a professor at the University of Tehran, to discuss to discuss the ongoing talks between Iran and the P5+1 group of states over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear energy program.

The political analyst says the countries involved in the ongoing talks must reach a comprehensive deal with Iran because Tehran has already adhered to all of its international obligations and commitments.

Iran has fully cooperated with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to address the technical and other complex issues in the course of nuclear negotiations, Izadi says.

He also adds that the lack of an agreement between Iran and the world powers would only benefit the Israeli regime and its hawkish warmongers allies in the US.

The academic also expresses serious concern over constant Israeli meddling in US internal affairs as well as the regime’s growing influence over Washington’s foreign policy.
