Debate: Where is EU economy headed?
While the latest figures provided by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) point to a very modest improvement in the unemployment rate in the EU, a report by the World Bank says that more elderly EU citizens are falling into poverty.
In this edition of the Debate we ask Jack Rasmus, a professor of political economy from San Francisco, and Brent Budowsky, a columnist at The Hill from Washington, D.C. about the growing poverty rate in the EU and the future of its economy.
