British-accented ISIL slaughterer fled Britain hiding in truck

'Jihadi John' on killing mission

The British-accented ISIL terrorist and executioner, Mohammed Emwazi, also known as “Jihadi John” escaped Britain by hiding in the back of a freight lorry, a new report suggests.

Sources revealed that the terrorist, who has been identified recently as Kuwait-born Londoner Mohammed Emwazi, crossed Europe without being checked until he reached Turkey from where he entered Syria.

26-year-old Emwazi was raised in an area of west London. He reportedly fled the country in early 2013 soon after he was barred from traveling to Kuwait. In the same year, he surfaced in Syria where he joined other terrorists waging war against the Syrian government.

Some news network has quoted Emwazi’s father, Jasim, as saying that he asked his son to change the name in order to travel back to Kuwait, but the scheme didn’t work out. Lawyers for his family say Emwazi's father remains suspicious over the identity of “Jihadi John”.

Confusions also prevail in the West. Some American officials have confirmed the identity of Jihadi John, but London police and British officials have so far declined to either confirm or deny reports on his identity.

MI5 is said to have approached Emwazi repeatedly, because of his ties with a group which the intelligence agency calls a terror cell.

A new report also suggests, Emwazi carried out a kidnapping during his days living on a notorious housing estate. He abducted two schoolboys “at gunpoint and dumped them on a motorway in revenge for a gang attack on his brother”.

Emwazi, has gained notoriety for appearing in a number of videos depicting the execution of Western hostages. That also after the ISIL spillover into Iraq. Despite his repeated appearance in online videos, he remains at large and is believed to be somewhere in Iraq or Syria.
