US police not accountable to anyone: Activist

This file photo shows US police.

Press TV has conducted an interview with Jahi Issa, a civil rights activist from Delaware, to discuss the issue of police brutality in the United States.

Issa believes the problem in the United States is that the police are not accountable to anyone and they are backed by the Federal Government. He also says the Department of Justice has done very little to curtail the power of the US police, adding that they are almost like a private army that govern themselves.
