Israel pushes Mideast deeper into crisis: Analyst

Press TV has conducted an interview with James Morris, editor with america-hijacked.com from Los Angeles, to discuss support of the US and the Israeli regime for the ISIL terrorists controlling swathes of land in Iraq and Syria.

The political commentator maintains that the Israeli regime and Zionist elements have been pushing the whole Middle East region towards a broader war through arming the terrorist groups and igniting tensions.

He also adds that hard-line US politicians supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq, adding that they have waged several other wars across the region in recent years for the sake of Israeli interests.

Morris argues that the current US-Turkey plan to train and equip the so-called moderate militants in Syria would be a repetition of the past mistake, adding that the militants earlier trained by the US in Afghanistan and elsewhere have already ended up joining the ISIL and al-Qaeda-linked militants groups.

The analyst concludes by saying that the ISIL Takfiri militants may bite the hand that feeds them and eventually turn against the US and its allies.
