Israeli officials must be tried by International Criminal Court: Ex-US Marine

Press TV has conducted an interview with Ken O’Keefe, a peace activist and former US Marine, in London, about the Israeli regime’s criminal activities, including those against the Gaza Strip.

O’Keefe says Israeli officials and their Western backers must be prosecuted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for committing war crimes against Gazans.

He says that Israeli regime officials have committed innumerable crimes against humanity by imposing the years-long blockade on and waging a series of wars against the Palestinian enclave.

The Israeli regime’s backers in Washington, London and Cairo should also be considered complicit in the Israeli wars, which have claimed the lives of thousands of innocent Palestinians and plunged Gaza deep into crisis, O’Keefe says.

He roundly criticizes Israel for treating the Palestinians in a derogatory way by depriving them of basic necessities and opening the floodgates of toxic waters into Gaza.

The analyst concludes by saying that the Tel Aviv regime was responsible for the ongoing deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza as it has been hindering international efforts to reconstruct the besieged region.
