Ukrainian President Poroshenko is US puppet: Analyst

Scott Rickard has described Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko as a puppet of the US.

An American political commentator has described Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko as a puppet of the left-wing American Zionist-controlled political infrastructure.

Scott Rickard also called Vice President Joe Biden the kingpin of Zionist traitors in the United States after he blamed Russia for violating the Minsk peace agreement that was signed over the crisis in Ukraine.

The comment "about the US blaming Russia for creating these types of activities and Russian involvement in Ukraine is absurd,” Rickard told Press TV on Wednesday.

“The comments were made by Joe Biden to Poroshenko and Poroshenko obviously is a puppet of the left-wing American Zionist-controlled Zionist-influenced political infrastructure and Joe Biden is the kingpin of these Zionist traitors in the United States,” he added.

On Tuesday, Biden blamed pro-Russian forces in Ukraine for violating the ceasefire which was agreed last week in the Belarus capital, Minsk, to end fighting between Ukrainian troops and pro-Russian forces.

He made the remarks during a phone conversation with Poroshenko, the White House said.

The Minsk Protocol was an agreement to halt the war in the Donbass region of Ukraine, signed on 5 September 2014. By January 2015, however, the Minsk Protocol ceasefire had completely collapsed. A new package of measures meant to stop fighting in the Donbass, called "Minsk II," was agreed to on 12 February 2015.

Despite the new peace plan and promises to pull back heavy weapons, Ukrainian troops and pro-Russian forces have been fighting fierce battles around the city of Debaltseve.

Russia says Kiev and its Western allies have twisted the peace deal.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that several official representatives of Ukraine and Western countries, “the United States in particular, have essentially expressed solidarity with the opinion of radical nationalists in the Verkhovna Rada (the Ukrainian parliament).”
