ISIL Takfiris in retreat on all fronts: Academic
Press TV has conducted an interview with Jamal Wakim, professor at the Lebanese International University from Beirut, to discuss Kurdish fighters’ major progress in their push to drive the ISIL Takfiri terrorists out of rural areas around the Syrian city of Kobani.
Wakim believes ISIL is retreating on all fronts. He also argues the US-led coalition airstrikes against ISIL were not serious and damaging enough, adding that the main effort to limit the expansion of this group was played by the Syrian army, the Iraqi army and the Kurdish fighters.
