EU furthering US agenda in Ukraine: Analyst
Press TV has conducted an interview with Manuel Ochsenreiter, the editor-in-chief of German monthly newsmagazine Zuerst in Berlin, to discuss the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.
Ochsenreiter maintains that certain European countries that are negotiating a solution to the conflict in Ukraine have often failed to remain neutral and impartial. He also accuses the most powerful EU member states such as Germany and France of pursuing US interests and furthering the NATO agenda in Ukraine.
The analyst warns that the ongoing proxy war in Ukraine could escalate into a full-scale confrontation between the US-led Western countries and Russia.
