Press TV has conducted an interview with Jaume Castan, an assistant professor at the University of Southern Denmark, to discuss a mass rally staged by Spain’s anti-austerity party Podemos against the worsening economic situation and increasing reports of political corruption.

Castan says the protest was very symbolic but the symbolism will probably transform into tangible political change in the upcoming electoral contest in Spain. He added the anger and frustration of Spaniards go beyond economic reasons and are well connected to the political system itself.
