Press TV has conducted an interview with Ibrahim Moussawi, a political commentator in Beirut, to discuss a report by The Washington Post saying that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) helped Israel’s spy agency, Mossad, to assassinate Imad Mughniyah, a high-ranking Hezbollah commander, back in 2008.

Moussawi says everybody is aware of the kind of collaboration that exists between the two spy agencies, especially when it comes to such crimes, adding that this is not anything new and does not come as a surprise.

He says the United States has been giving the green light to all the aggression carried out by Israel, and the Tel Aviv regime is always getting immunity from any kind of condemnation in the UN Security Council thanks to the American veto as well.
