Press TV has conducted an interview with Nasser al-Omari, a political analyst from New York, to discuss the popular uprising in Bahrain.

Omari says the Manama regime is resorting to heavy-handed measures and brutal tactics in order to intimidate opposition parties, rights activists and various echelons of society. He argues that the Al Khalifa monarchy has constantly been violating the international law by revoking citizenship of activists and jailing opposition leaders.
