US Senate bill to undermine nuclear talks: Analyst

Press TV has conducted an interview with Marzieh Javadi, political commentator from Tehran, to discuss the approval of a controversial bill by the US Senate Banking Committee which would trigger additional sanctions against Iran if the ongoing nuclear negotiations between the Islamic Republic and the P5+1 group of countries collapse.

Javadi said the endorsement of this legislation in the US Senate Banking Committee will have a negative effect on the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 group. She added that such move by the United States will prove it to be “untrustworthy” and “unreliable.”

Javadi further said these kinds of moves are “not appropriate” in the diplomatic path which the United States claims it has chosen to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue.
