Under the ongoing Israeli occupation, every day brings bad news for Palestinians here; Israeli authorities have issued an order to seize over 500 dunams of land in the village of Beit Oula in occupied Hebron al-Khalil, declaring it now as what they call "state land".

Human rights organizations here explain this means the land is no longer privately owned by the Palestinians, and therefore it can be used for Tel Aviv’s settlement construction:

Signs have already been posted on the land by Israeli military administrators saying “state land – no trespassing”. The notice published by the military gave no reason for the decision, however the claim is always ready: Israeli army determined the land was not cultivated with enough intensity for the Palestinians to maintain their ownership rights. However, their owners stress that they have been farming and residing the farms for decades.Judaize" Area C and empty it from its original residents.

Moreover, also in Hebron al-Khalil district, the Israeli authorities have notified local residents of al-Tabban village of demolition orders for several properties and animal shelters, for not having the needed construction permits, an excuse used by Tel Aviv to broaden its control over the West Bank.

Israel's illegal actions including colonization, land seizure and property demolition all lead, at the end of the day, to more displacement among the Palestinians who are the real owners of the lands occupied by Israel. 60 percent of the land in the occupied West Bank is now under full Israeli control.
