Global students for Gaza
Extreme violence has been meted out to pro-Palestinian students in encampments on university campuses across the United States.
Theres been revulsion at some of the violence being brought to bear as Israel backers in some cases, attacked Palestinian solidarity camps, most notably at the University of California in Los Angeles. On the East Coast in New York, and at the behest of college administrators, police raided the campus of the Columbia University. Despite the crackdown, the student-led protests and encampments against Israels brutal war in Gaza are spreading - not just in the US, but across the world. The demands of those protesting are clear: they want their places of advanced learning to divest from genocide and to stop investing in companies involved in weapons, manufacturing and other industry supporting Israel mass killings of Palestinians… Meanwhile, Gaza is still experiencing pain, heartache and ongoing bombardment- one that has so far seen 35,000 souls martyred. Rafah is now the target of the genocidal IoF and the 1.5 million people who have sought shelter there are under threat of munitions and malnutrition.
